Website URLs and reports

When you submit a public website URL, the service retrieves a limited sample of public pages and stores the resulting audit report. The MVP does not require an account.

Who can see a report

Each report lives at a long, randomly generated address that is not listed or indexed by search engines. Anyone you share that link with can open the report until it expires, so share it only with people you trust.

Emailed reports

If you ask us to email a report, we use your address to send that one message. We keep a record of the request (your email address, the audited domain, the report link, the time, and whether you opted in to updates) so we can handle support questions and prevent abuse. We only send product updates if you tick the updates box, and every update includes a way to unsubscribe. We never sell or rent email addresses.

Session and abuse prevention

An essential session cookie is used on the audit and email forms for request protection. A one-way hash derived from the requesting network address may be used temporarily for rate limiting; the raw address is not written to the rate-limit filename.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs (IP address, time, requested page and browser type) for security and troubleshooting. The application also keeps a private error log that records the audited domain and any error. These logs are not sold or shared and are rotated routinely.

External services

If configured by the operator, Google PageSpeed Insights may receive the audited public URL for performance analysis. If AI summaries are enabled, structured audit findings may be sent to the configured AI provider. Website page bodies are not sent to the AI summarizer by this application.

Retention

Reports are configured for periodic deletion after 30 days. Operators should run the included cleanup cron job.

Your choices

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. To ask for a report to be deleted before it expires, or for your email address to be removed from our records, email us from that address.
