- Set a social sharing title, description and image for your homepage in your SEO or social settings.
On WordPress
- In Yoast or Rank Math, open the homepage’s “Social” tab and set the title, description and image. Set a default image in the plugin’s Social settings.
On Shopify
- Online Store → Preferences → Social sharing image.
On Wix
- Pages → page settings → Social share: upload an image and set the title and description.
If you are handing this to a developer
Add og:title, og:description, og:image (1200×630) and og:url to the homepage.
Check it worked. Paste your homepage address into a social preview tool (for example the LinkedIn Post Inspector): it should show your title, description and image.
